Position Summary Information

General Description of Position

We are seeking an innovative adjunct religion faculty member dedicated to student success, meeting the diverse needs of our students, and who functions well independently and in a team-oriented environment. Adjunct faculty are responsible for course content and course management. Job assignments are made for one semester, and are renewable based on needs of the college, minimum enrollment requirements, and satisfactory performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree and 18 graduate hours in a religious studies discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in a community college; successful experience using a variety of active and collaborative learning strategies; experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning; and a demonstrated track record showing regular professional development around their teaching and the discipline.
