Position Summary Information

General Description of Position

The testing facilitator provides information and support for prospective and current students seeking to utilize assessment services on multiple campuses. Additionally, the testing facilitator informs students regarding the enrollment step following placement testing. This is a part-time position working no more than 25 hours a week.

This position will assist students with standardized testing on multiple campuses; assist with the proctoring, filing and returning of academic tests; serve as the first point of contacts for check-in; enter data provide by students utilizing assessment services; respond promptly and effectively (by phone, e-mail, and in person) to inquiries; assist with placement test facilitation in area high schools; enter placement scores into the BANNER student information system; assist students in selecting and registering for an appropriate orientation session; maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information and scores; maintain hard copies of results in secured files; and represent the College positively and appropriately at off-campus locations.

This position has varying work hours to accommodate testing schedules and will need to be able to travel to multiple testing locations and campuses.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma and 1 year relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree with demonstrated related administrative experience; or a High School Diploma and 2 years of demonstrated related work experience.

Proficiency in office software (word processing, databases, presentations, and spreadsheets); effective oral and written communications skills; sound judgment; and the ability to work well with the general public and other faculty and staff members.
