Position Summary Information

General Description of Position

Sign language interpreters are often needed at Tri-County Technical College for students or companions who are deaf or hard of hearing. Interpreters must be willing and able to travel to various campuses in Anderson, Easley, Pendleton, Sandy Springs, and Seneca, SC. Hours are as-needed and may include evenings and/or weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and experience in sign language interpreting. Must be fluent in both English and American Sign Language.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed as an Educational Interpreter; NIC certified or have an EIPA of 3.5 or higher.
