Position Summary Information

General Description of Position

The Nursing Adjunct Instructor for Tri-County Technical College, should be an innovate individual dedicated to student success and meeting the diverse needs of students. Job duties include, but are not limited to, teaching, assessing and improving student learning, and monitoring clinical performance. Additional duties include remaining current in best practices, and performing administrative duties such as record keeping and reporting. Clinical teaching assignments may include both day and evening classes, with the potential of being at multiple clinical facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications for this position include two years of experience in nursing, and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. An additional requirement is an unencumbered SC RN license.

Preferred Qualifications

In order to remain in compliance with our accrediting bodies, we will give preference to those holding an Master’s of Science in Nursing. Previous teaching experience is preferred.
