Position Summary Information

General Description of Position

The Science Department is looking for qualified adjunct faculty to teach astronomy, physics, and physical science lecture and lab courses. Applicants should have an interest or background in a learning outcome-based curriculum, have expertise in astronomy, physics, physical science, or related fields of study, and have a desire to work in a collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in astronomy, physics, physical science, or related fields of study.

Preferred Qualifications

Community College teaching experience or university teaching experience preferred.

Special Instructions to Applicants

Applications are received and considered on a continuous basis. Adjunct faculty are hired to teach lecture and/or lab sections based on need for the upcoming semester.
